If you don't have time for a long walking holiday, or are new to self-guided walking trips and are loooking for a taster, our short walking breaks are an ideal introduction.
We have picked some of the most beautiful areas that Cornwall, Devon and Somerset have to offer for your self-guided, short walking break. They are ideal if you are a "novice" to walking and/or walking holidays and want to try it and see or, simply because you cannot spare the time for a longer walking holiday. They are also relatively easy to get to by public transport, being either served by a train station or close to one.
There are two different types of breaks. For our typical walking breaks, you will walk from one location to another while we move your luggage on for you. We have also designed a number of centred walking breaks, which will allow you to stay at the same accommodation. We will arrange for transport to take you to and from the walk, and back to your accommodation, where required. For both types of breaks, you will be provided with maps and route descriptions for your walk, including directions to your overnight accommodation, as appropriate.
